区别：1、answer是常用词，可指口头、笔头，甚至行动回答，有时可与reply通用。2、reply较answer正式，既可指用语言、书面作答，也可指用动作或手势作答，常用于正式场合或书面语中，指经过慎重考虑作出的答复。在表示回答问题时，answer后直接跟question；reply后要加介词to。
